Please note: Dr Kang Nee has retired from active consulting and training and is no longer accepting clients. This page is preserved as an archival case study showcasing the benefits of scent work and force-free mental enrichment.

As a certified Level 1 Fun Scent Games Instructor (FSG-1) through the Dognostics Career Center, Dr Kang Nee guided diverse teams – from energetic puppies to senior or shelter dogs like Kiyo, Happy and Baxter – through structured scent games to unleash the power of their super noses.

* The Approach: Utilising fear-free, force-free methods, pet parents learned how to set up indoor and outdoor search games that allowed their dogs to use their natural instincts safely.
* The Outcome: Dogs discovered a constructive outlet for their mental energy, gaining confidence through independent problem-solving while strengthening the bond and communication with their handlers.

While active instruction is no longer available, the foundational philosophy of these workouts emphasised:
* Natural Instincts: Honouring the dog’s primary way of experiencing the world by encouraging safe, rewarding sniffing.
* Accessibility: Providing flexible mental enrichment that could be played anywhere – from the living room to the garden – without requiring high-impact physical exertion.
* Force-free Engagement: Building focus and emotional balance through positive reinforcement and fear free and/or low stress handling.

There is nothing more fun for your dog than to spend a walk following new smells. And if you immerse yourself in your dog’s experience, you’ll have as much fun too. We invite you to explore our archive of free resources to discover more games and enrichment activities!
