Dr Kang Nee of cheerfuldogs.com joins select group of 29 trainers worldwide

Singapore, 20 October 2016: Dr Kang Nee, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and founder of cheerfuldogs.com has achieved Certification in Separation Anxiety Training. Dr Kang graduated the intensive 12-week program, created by internationally renowned separation anxiety expert, Malena DeMartini, in October. “I’m delighted to welcome Nee into the elite ranks of Certified Separation Anxiety Trainers (CSAT),” says DeMartini.

Malena DeMartini created the certification program in 2014 based on her 15 years of exclusive focus on separation anxiety training and hundreds of successfully resolved cases. She is the author of Treating Separation Anxiety in Dogs. “Separation anxiety impacts over 17% of dogs in the United States alone. It wreaks havoc on the lives of both dog and guardian alike, particularly if left unresolved. This particular disorder is not easy to work with, and having the support of a specialized trainer can make all the difference in achieving success,” says DeMartini.

The Separation Anxiety Certification Program is designed for experienced dog trainers with advanced skills who are looking to increase their effectiveness in working with separation anxiety clients. The program covers the intricacies of working with separation anxiety clients and their dogs. Comprised of group discussions, webinars, case study reviews, a midterm test, and a final test including in-depth written and 30-minute verbal exams, the program teaches trainers how to work extremely closely with clients. Due to the nature of the separation anxiety disorder, training can be done using online tools, which means that Certified Separation Anxiety Trainers can provide help to clients in any location.
