Online Virtual Training For All Dogs

Online virtual training for Covid-19 pandemic social distancing

Online virtual training sessions are a great way to learn with your dog – all done at your convenience, with a far more flexible schedule than in-person sessions. Depending on the behaviour challenges that you’re facing with your puppy or adult dog, online virtual training can give you a headstart in various scenarios:

1. Puppies: we’ll go over the nuts and bolts of raising a sociable puppy, and get you started on games that will help your puppy enjoy being handled for co-operative care (e.g. being groomed, checked by the vet etc).

2. Adult dogs: for fearful and dogs who are afraid of strangers, online virtual training removes the stress of having an unfamiliar trainer in your home. You will be coached on how to work with your dog through their fears.

3. Dogs with separation anxiety: for these dogs, online virtual training is the gold standard, so that we’re able to simulate the actual circumstances of your leaving your dog home alone.

4. Training in the time of a pandemic: you don’t have to wait until pandemic measures are lifted in order to learn some boredom busters, such as nosework and fitness games, to keep your dog happily engaged.

Our goal: To help you and your dog when situations prevent us from training in-person.

Cost: S$300 per dog, 1.5 hours duration

Behaviour Consultation & Evaluation

Force-free dog training with Pinot Golden Retriever

Your journey starts here, with a behaviour consultation and evaluation for your dog in your home. A behaviour consultation and evaluation determine yours and your dog’s training needs. We’ll assess your dog’s behaviour, guide you in understanding your dog’s body language, and test how your dog responds to training. We use effective fear-free and low-stress handling techniques, force-free and reward-based training methods, which are based on a scientific understanding of how dogs learn.

Our goal: To help you and your dog form a fulfilling life-long relationship anchored on a sound understanding of your dog’s behaviour, and clear communication between you and your dog.

Cost: S$600 per dog, 2-3 hours duration
(Terms and Conditions apply)

“Puppy Brains” Foundation Programme

Puppy training and socialisation

Puppyhood is the best time to teach your puppy to be calm and brave around potentially scary things and situations she can encounter in our human world, e.g. strangers, other dogs and animals, unfamiliar objects, loud noises, being handled for a nail trim, ear cleaning, etc.

While our puppy lessons are mainly conducted in your home, we’ll organise play sessions with other known dogs, where we guide you in socialising your puppy safely with other dogs.

We’ll take you through the first few important lessons for your puppy – potty training, handling exercises, encountering novel situations and forming good play habits with your family, especially if you have kids!

Work your puppy’s brain – it’ll tire him out as much as, if not more, than just physical exercise.

Cost: S$2,100 per puppy, 8 one-hour sessions
(Terms and Conditions apply)

The “A-A” Connection - Adolescents to Adults

Force-free dog training with Alfie, French Bulldog

As your dog reaches adolescence (approx. 8 months – 2 years), and adulthood, he may develop behaviours that you weren’t prepared for.

Many dogs miss out on learning the life and social skills that are cultivated from puppyhood, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t learn them when they’re older. We provide customised training through in-home lessons to address challenges you may face with your dog, e.g. jumping, chewing, nipping, mouthing, excessive barking, unruly behaviour, reactivity towards people or other animals.

A dog can learn, regardless of age, breed or size, but she needs you to work with her consistently as a team, to bring out those canine good manners that are welcomed wherever you go with your dog.

Cost: S$2,100 per dog for 8 one-hour sessions
(Terms and Conditions apply)

Single Sessions for Small Tweaks

At times, you may need a little help just to sort out a puzzling behaviour for your generally well-behaved dog, or you might like to learn some fun games – like fun scent games to stimulate the canine mind. In cases like these, you can book single sessions on an ad-hoc basis. You may need to first schedule a Behaviour Evaluation, and we’ll see what’s needed!

Cost:
* Behaviour Evaluation ($600 per dog, 2-3 hours duration) may be required.
* S$300 per dog, 1 hour duration per session.
